We Reopened on Friday, May 15th! Walk-ins are permitted with social distancing and limited capacity enforced
Study from Johns Hopkins: While researchers found that the virus can remain on some surfaces for up to 72 hours, the study didn't include fabric. "So far, evidence suggests that it's harder to catch the virus from a soft surface (such as fabric) than it is from frequently touched hard surfaces like elevator buttons or door handles," wrote Lisa Maragakis, MD, Senior Director of Infection Prevention at the Johns Hopkins Health System.
Even so, we are taking extensive measures to protect the health of our clients and our consultants. We are implementing thoughtful procedures and protocols that will allow everyone to relax and enjoy their experience at T. Carolyn knowing that preventative measures are being taken care of to protect everyone's health.
The following are the procedures & protocol we are implementing upon our re-opening:
-We will be wearing protective clear full-face shields.
-We are asking all our customers to wear masks. This will be non-negotiable as it is in everyone's best interest.
-We are asking everyone to wash their hands as soon as they enter T. Carolyn. We will not be distributing hand sanitizer because the alcohol in the solution strips the color out of fabrics.
-We will be opening every other dressing room to allow plenty of space between customers.
-With the spacing being given between dressing rooms, there should be ample room to get to our large, 3-way mirrors. We will, however, be directing customers to ensure that proper distance is observed,
-Each customer may bring 2 guest. This will allow us to conform to the recommended Health & Safety Guidelines given for Harris County.
- If we find ourselves having to ask customers to wait to come in because we have reached the capacity that we are comfortable working with, we will take names & numbers & ask everyone to wait in their cars or outside until we call them.
We are allowing walk ins. Those who arrive after we reach our capacity will be asked to wait outside & will be notified as soon as we have available space & personnel to serve them. Ours is a lovely shopping center to walk around, with various shops & restaurants as well as a Starbuck’s. We will work to keep the wait time down to a minimum.
We are working short staffed as none of our employees decided to come back to work.
We, along with our new stylist, Iris, will do everything possible to make your time with us successful & enjoyable. We still are limiting time of 1 to 1 1/2 hrs per customer.
We thank you for adhering to our procedures & protocols. It's been our privilege to assist with life changing special occasions for the past 30 years, & we look forward to doing it for another 30!
Wishing you all the best in health & life,
T. Carolyn
