6/29/2010 Dear Barbara and Terri, Our son's wedding was this past weekend in Richardson and it was wonderful! The whole weekend was perfect! At the wedding I received so many compliments on my dress and since I have posted pictures on Facebook and e-mailed people who couldn't go to the wedding, everyone has said how beautiful my dress was. I tell all my friends who have yet to have their child go through this stage of their life that I will take them to T. Carolyn when their turn comes. 12/26/2009 Wow! I got so many compliments at the wedding. The dress was so comfortable and it took 50 pounds off! I felt wonderful! It was worth it to drive an hour north north to find this dress. I hate shopping! I only tried on the one dress! I walked in the door, had a short conversation with one of the girls and the perfect dress appeared. I tried it on and I knew there was no need to try on another! The only question that I have is..... Would it be bad form to wear the same dress at all three of my children's weddings?

Dec. 19, 2008 Barbara, You and your store are a credit to the industry. You are awesome! Everything you promised you delivered! I had more compliments at the wedding last Saturday and everyone wanted to know where I got my dress. I told everyone to go straight to T. Carolyn and not waste time shopping any place else. Terrie was amazing! She knew exactly what dress would work for me and promised that it would arrive in time for the wedding…and it did. There was a relative at the wedding who works for Vogue in New York and he raved about my dress. You see, you never know all the people who will be impressed at how well you’ve made your mothers look! When I opened my “thank you” note, I felt I should be sending you the “thank you”. Dear Barbara, Terrie, and most of all, Lena, My son's June 21, 2008, Long Island wedding was absolutely wonderful and a special thank you goes to your fabulous store for dressing me in what I would call "my best." On the day I walked into T.Carolyn's this March, I met Lena who graciously led me to some great dresses in your store. Wouldn't you know that the very first dress she showed me ended up being the dress I purchased? I remember Lena telling me that this was the dress for my skin tone, hair color, and body shape. At first I thought it was a little too fancy; however, after trying on many other dresses, I kept coming back to Lena's choice. My husband Jeff met me at the store on his lunch hour two weeks later and I modeled several different dresses for him. This was clearly his first choice as well as mine. Our reception was held at The Hamlet Golf & Country Club in Commack, New York. There was lots of dancing all night long so I slipped off my bolero jacket and danced the night away. I received numerous compliments on my look, and I have to say that I truly owe it all to Lena and your store. You ladies really know your business. January 29, 2007 Dear Barbara, I was one of the first 13 women to attend A&M in the summer of 1963 so that gives you a good idea of how old I am. This past weekend I was having coffee with one of the other "13" and I told her about my wonderful shopping experience in T. Carolyn last Friday and all about you, Barbara Tibbetts. I relived my experience as I told her that the dresses are beautiful, quality items and, in my opinion, quite reasonable. I told her that in all my year of acquiring clothing I had never had the pleasure of being in such a shop. A shop where quality dresses - chosen and displayed to perfection - satisfies the shoppers' optical senses s soon as she walks through the door. A shop where one instantly feels special and where a woman who dares to be over a size 4 and under 6 feet is transformed into a thing of beauty and is treated with utmost respect. I became ill several years ago after my husband deserted me and went from 118 lbs to over 200 lbs in less than 5 months due to wrong medication. It was a horrible experience and has been a difficult adjustment but a blessing in the long run. However, the treatment of an overweight woman is deplorable in most places and most particularly up-scale shops such as T.Carolyn. We are generally greeted with a look of disdain and pity. January 2007 Dearest T.Carolyn and Especially Lena, There are no words to express my deep gratitude and thanks for all you did for me at the worst time ever! Who would ever imagine the mother of the bride getting the same dress and then my having to leave out of town for an unexpected funeral that same day! You made sure I was able to get another dress and it was the most beautiful dress I have ever put on my body! Everyone stopped me and said how absolutely beautiful I looked that night. November 20, 2006 Dear Barbara, Terrie and Gals: Thank you ever so much for your excellent care and helpful encouragement as I prepared for my son's wedding. Not only did I purchase two fabulous dresses, but also I felt sincere kindness from all of you. Being in Austin for four days, I was relaxed for every event. Everyone (including the customers) made me feel great and confident that I had chosen the most perfect outfit for our daughter's wedding. We had a wonderful time at the wedding on 4th February in Carbinsdale Castle, Scotland. It was a beautiful sunny day and I was complimented many times on my outfit. The strange thing was, my daughtrer chose her dress lst summer in London and it was only 2 days before the wedding that we saw each other's dress. We could not believe how coordinated they were! Most of the guests thought that I had chosen my outfit to coordinate with the bride's dress. I have enclosed some photos taken at the wedding, including the view - Carbinsdale Castle.
